Over the past few days weve had the privilege of being able to preview a select
few of the many devices we can expect to see debut this year. Weve seen future
devices from Sony, Huawei, and ZTE; some really neat accessories that can make
our phones even more versatile; weve even seen some interesting announcements
come from some of the major carriers here. With this surplus amount of news we
have now, will the hype stemming from the BlackBerry 10 announcement lessen?
When RIM announced last November that they will be holding their launch even at
the end of January this year, they picked a good time to announce it. News was
slow at the time, and without a lot of other important news to cover at the time
media outlets were sure to give BlackBerry 10 the attention it needed in order
to have any hope of being noticed. For BlackBerry, perhaps a month and a half of
debate whether it will see success or further failure was all it needed, because
the talk of BlackBerry 10 has surely been pushed aside in favor of discussing
topics revolving around CES.
BlackBerry 10 has a lot to compete with, not only in terms of iPhone or Android
but also in terms of specs. Youve got phones like the HTC One X+ which runs on a
1.7GHz quad-core processor and phones that will be released like the Sony Xperia
Z and ZL which showcases a 13-megapixel camera. With the BlackBerry Z10 rumored
to only come equipped with an 8-megapixel camera and a 1.5GHz dual-core
processor, youve already got phones with specs that overshadow a device that
hasnt even been released if the rumors are true, of course. My fear is that
while BlackBerry 10 might have been considered somewhat innovative and
refreshing to see a year ago, it has become exactly that a year too late.
There are some features of BlackBerry 10 that are enticing, however. Ive always
seen BlackBerry as a phone for people with heavy workloads or business people,
but as we all know our phones are used both for work and play. BlackBerry 10 has
made it easy by combining work phone with personal phone and made a profile for
each. So when youre at work and cant use certain apps (i.e. Facebook) you can
make sure to leave out certain apps on your business profile, but have them
accessible on your personal profile for play time off of the clock.
BlackBerry 10 also makes multitasking easy and simple with BlackBerry Flow. The
premise of this function is to basically make it so you can seamlessly switch
through apps without having to think about it; you just kind of flow through
your phone. This is something that our major platforms seem to be lacking as a
stock function.
It would seem that BlackBerry 10 has some innovative ideas to start off with,
but they certainly have a long road ahead of them before they can claim success
once again.
Oh RIM, why didnt you just come out with BlackBerry 10 around this time last
year?
Now that CES is over, I imagine talks of BlackBerry 10 will soon resurface the
closer the launch date approaches. I just hope that RIM has a strategy to pull
people in with this new platform; theyve got a lot to compete with at the
moment.

While iTunes 11.0.1 appears to have fixed most of bugs reported in the
applications initial 11.0 release (including those I covered in a previous
column), a few lingering issues remain.

AirPlay bug

One bug that continues to generate heat in Apple Support Communities concerns
AirPlay. Numerous users find that, after updating to iTunes 11.x, content
streamed to an Apple TV (or other AirPlay device) can stop playing unexpectedly.
This can occur as early as the middle of the first played song or as late as an
hour or more into a playlist or movie.

Evidence points to iTunes as the ultimate cause, as people report that the
symptom affects any and all of their AirPlay devices. As a few users pointed
out, media can stop playing if your Mac goes to sleep (duh!). However, most
users note that unwanted halts occur independent of sleep.

A usually successful work-around is to go to iTunes AirPlay menu and shift to
the Multiple, rather than Single, option (see figure below). If your AirPlay
device connects via Ethernet, another potential work-around is to switch from
the wired connection to a wireless one. This is reminiscent of a similar switch
that remedied an inability to install the Apple TV 5.1.1 update.

Shifting iTunes AirPlay menu from Single to Multiple may solve a streaming
glitch.On a personal note, I have had a similar problem with premature halting
of playlists in iTunes 11. However, it is not restricted to AirPlay. It occurs
on my Apple TV even when streaming directly from my Mac.

Hotspot bug

An iTunes-related Personal Hotspot issue dates back at least as far as iTunes
10.7. The symptom is a failure of the USB Hotspot option, when connecting an
iPhone or iPad to a Mac. Unfortunately, based on reports in Apple Support
Communities, the bug remains present after updating to the latest 11.0.1 version
of iTunes.

The most frequently recommended work-around is to use Kext Utility to replace
the currently installed AppleUSBEthernetHost.kext file (located in
/System/Library/Extensions) with a prior version as obtained from the web.
Precise details on how to do this can be found in another Apple Support
Communities thread. One further thread implicates iPhone Configuration Utility
as a co-conspirator. Postings here advise deleting the Utility (as well as its
receipts file, accessed via Terminal) before removing the aforementioned kext
file.

Although the fix should allow USB tethering to work again, it is not an ideal
solution. First, the next time you update iTunes and/or OS X, the replacement
file may get wiped out by the newer install, with the symptom returning. Second,
any custom modification to the content of the Extensions folder is risky. Older
replacement files may turn out to be incompatible with other aspects of the
current OS, resulting in unpredictable problems separate from whatever you are
trying to fix. However, until Apple addresses the ultimate cause, kext
replacement may be worth a try. Just make certain you have backup copies of any
removed files, in case you need to do a restore.

"Mengenal lebih dekat Osteoporosis", maka pada kesempatan ini saya melanjutkan
pembahasan mengenai osteoporosis ini.
Saya pikir, Anda telah mendapatkan pengetahuan awal dan dini mengenai apa itu
osteoporosis melalui artikel saya yang sebelumnya. Kalau belum saya sarankan
baca dulu mengenai "Mengenal Lebih dekat Osteoporosis'.

Osteoporosis adalah salah satu isu global mengenai kesehatan wanita. Makanya,
ini artikel saya posting supaya Anda sebagai wanita juga dapat tahu lebih dini,
setalah tahu lebih dini Anda dapat menerapkan beberapa langkah pencegahan dan
antisipasi dalam mencegah osteoporosis sebelum penyakit ini menyerang Anda.

Tips pencegahan Osteoporosis Sejak Dini :


Mengkonsumsi kalsium dalam jumlah yang cukup sangat efektif, terutama sebelum
tercapainya kepadatan tulang maksimal (sekitar umur 30 tahun). Minum 2 gelas
susu dan tambahan vitamin D setiap hari, bisa meningkatkan kepadatan tulang pada
wanita setengah baya yang sebelumnya tidak mendapatkan cukup kalsium. Akan
tetapi tablet kalsium dan susu yang dikonsumsi setiap hari akhir - akhir ini
menjadi perdebatan sebagai pemicu terjadi osteoporosis, berhubungan dengan teori
osteoblast.


Mengonsumsi makanan dengan gizi seimbang yang memenuhi kebutuhan nutrisi dengan
unsur kaya serat,rendah lemak,dan kaya kalsium (1000 -1500 mg per hari).
Pastikan diet anda mengandung 1000 miligram kalsium per hari ( jika anda pra
menopause ) atau 1500 miligram per hari (jika anda post-menopause). Hindari
suplemen yang berasal dari dolomite atau tepung tulang, bagaimanapun juga dalam
mengkonsumsi kalsium jangan melebihi 1500 miligram kalsium per hari.



Sumber makanan tinggi klasium antara lain :


Susu dan hasil olahannnya (keju, yoghurt ).Susu (diutamakan yang low fat), anda
juga bisa mengkonsumsi susu tinggi kalsium yang beredar di pasaran.Yoghurt.
Walaupun merupakan produk dari susu, namun kalsium dalam yoghurt lebih mudah
diserap tubuh.

Ikan teri (teri kering , rebon , teri segar )
Sarden dan mackerel kalengan dengan tulangnya,salmon

Kacang-kacangan (kacang panjang, kacang hijau kering, kedelai ).Kedelai. Selain
mengandung kalsium kedelai juga mengandung estrogen nabati atau fitoestrogen
yang dapat membantu penyerapan kalsium


Sayur-sayuran (daun papaya,daun talas,pakcoi,sawi, brokoli).Sayuran hijau.
Sayuran hijau seperti brokoli, bayam, kangkung, dan selada tidak hanya
mengandung kalsium, tetapi juga mengandung kalium dan vitamin K yang mencegah
hilangnya kalsium dari tulang.

Buah-buahan (jeruk,sitrun ).

Kurangi sodium, garam, daging merah, dan makanan yang diasinkan.

Mulailah program reguler, latihan mempertahankan berat badan seperti
jalan-jalan, jogging, bersepeda atau aerobik yang tak berpengaruh atau
pegaruhnya rendah.Olah raga beban (misalnya berjalan dan menaiki tangga) akan
meningkatkan kepadatan tulang.Olahraga merupakan cara termudah dan termurah
untuk tetap sehat, termasuk dalam pencegahan osteoporosis ini. Olahraga Wight
Bearing seperti jogging, lari, angkat beban, bulu tangkis, tenis, atau olahraga
lain akan membantu menjaga kepadatan tulang anda. Selain itu olahraga juga dapat
memperkuat otot anda dan membantu keseimbangan postur anda sehingga kemungkinan
terjadinya fraktur (patah tulang) lebih kecil. Untuk mendapatkan hasil yang
lebih maksimal, lakukanlah olahraga ini di pagi hari sambil merasakan hangatnya
mentari pagi. Sinar matahari pagi sangat baik untuk membantu sintesis vitamin D
yang juga diperlukan dalam absorbsi kalsium. Lakukan olahraga pagi ini selama 30
menit selama 3 sampai 5 kali setiap minggunya.



Hindari minum kopi secara berlebihan karena dapat mengeluarkan kalsium secara
berlebihan, kurangi juga softdrink/minuman ringan karena dapat menghambat
penyerapan kalsium.Kopi memang dapat membantu anda tetap terjaga dan berenergi,
beberapa penelitian juga menemukan khasiat lain kopi seperti mencegah demensia
dan Alzheimer. Namun ternyata konsumsi kopi berlebihan juga dapat meningkatkan
ekskresi kalsium dari tulang. Batasilah konsumsi kopi anda tidak lebih dari 3
cangkir sehari.


Hindari minuman beralkohol dan rokok karena dapat menyerap cadangan kalsium
dalam tubuh.Merokok dan alkohol dapat mengganggu aktivitas Sel Osteoblas yang
turut berperan dalam absorbsi kalsium ke tulang. Berhentilah merokok dan
kurangilah konsumsi alkohol anda agar terhindar dari osteoporosis.



Selain mencukupi kebutuhan kalsium anda juga harus mencukupi kebutuhan vitamin
D, antara lain diperoleh dari pancaran sinar matahari.Paparan matahari (di pagi
hari dan sore menjelang magrib ) membantu pembentukan vitamin D.Anda Juga harus
mencukupi kebutuhan akan vitamin K,vitamin C, magmesium, kalium dan mineral
lainnnya yang membantu penyerapan kalsium.



Cek densitas tulang berkala.Satu hal yang mengganggu tentang osteoporosis adalah
osteoporosis ini tidak menimbulkan gejala. Seringkali penderita baru mengentahui
dirinya menderita osteoporosis setelah dia mengalami patah tulang tanpa terjadi
benturan atau kecelakaan yang keras. Untuk inilah pentingnya dilakukan
pemeriksaan densitas tulang. Pemeriksaan densitas tulang ini bisa dilakukan di
laboratorium terdekat, bahkan seringkali promosi suplemen kalsium juga
menyediakan tes densitas tulang ini secara gratis.

England membership team.
You will need to be able to inspire members of the public about birds,
conservation and the work of the RSPB. You will have a proven track record in

Once upon a time, not too long ago, buyers rarely cross shopped between Subarus
and BMWs, but now, with the way that the Bavarian brand has expanded its range
into most segments of the market, many of its cars directly challenge the
Japanese brand's models in terms of specs and surprisingly, pricing as well. A
prime example is the newly launched in Europe BMW M135i hatchback, which with
316bhp (320PS) and 450Nm (332 lb-ft) from its turbocharged 3.0-liter straight,
the option of either RWD or AWD configurations, and a UK starting price of
30,555 for the six-speed manual 3d and 31,970 for the 8-speed auto 3d model,
matches the Subaru WRX STi.
The latter sports a 2.5-liter turbocharged flat-four delivering 296bhp and 407Nm
(300 lb-ft) in standard guise carrying an OTR price of 32,995, and 316bhp
(320PS) and 450Nm 450Nm (332 lb-ft) in 320R trim, which costs an extra 1,599.
So, which one is the better car on the track? Well, that's the question British
car magazine Auto Express set to find out in its latest video review pitting the
two models against each other on the Blyton Park circuit.
Before you watch the clip, allows us to note that journalist Owen Mildenhall is
wrong about the BMW featuring a dual-clutch semi-automatic transmission, as the
M135i is offered exclusively with a 6-speed manual or a conventional 8-speed
automatic.
